FC Malaga City Academy Under 18s and Under 19s will take on Getafe CF on Saturday May 8th at Ciudad Deportiva Getafe CF.
Originally founded in 1946, Getafe CF have been a mainstay in La Liga since 2004 - and have reached the Copa del Rey final twice in their history.
The Madrid-based team finished 8th in La Liga last season, and compete at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, a 17,000 capacity stadium.
During the 2018/19 season, Getafe secured a fifth-placed finish - and qualified for the 2019/20 Europa League, where they reached the Round of 16.
Last time out, FC Malaga City U18s secured a 1-0 victory over Getafe thanks to a first-half strike from Karim Satmarean.
#FCMC U18s and U19s will go head-to-head with the club on May 8th 2021 at Ciudad Deportiva Getafe CF, with LIVE streaming details provided in due course.
George Jermy, Academy Director, commented: “We’re really excited to be able to face Getafe CF once more - a club we have built a strong relationship with over recent years.
“It was a fantastic moment for everybody when we picked up a 1-0 win against them last season - so we’re hoping to do the same this time around!
“Getafe are an established club and have competed in La Liga for 16 successive seasons - so this is a great opportunity and occasion for our boys to go and showcase their abilities."
