Defender Mateo Aveling reflected on a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience - as FC Malaga City Under 19s faced Atlético de Madrid on Wednesday.
#FCMC travelled to Madrid on a three-day Tour, where three teams faced Atlético at Ciudad Deportiva Atlético de Madrid, and Aveling admitted that it was "exciting" to face such an elite academy.
"The experience for me, going up against such an elite academy, was very exciting and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," he said.
"The one thing that I'll take away from the game into the rest of the season will be to focus on the little details and being engaged at all times."
Having the opportunity to go against one of the worlds best young players provided #FCMC with a unique experience, one Aveling admits has "inspired" him to go further in the game.
"Seeing the standard that Atlético played at has inspired to progress in football," Aveling added.
"The main reasons for me coming to #FCMC was to learn how to play Spanish football, and to meet new people from all around the world."
