Brazilian midfielder Fabrizio Giglioli revealed he has “always dreamt” of playing world-class teams – as FC Malaga City Academy get set to take on Atlético de Madrid.
The 16-year-old, who moved to Europe for the season from São Paulo, is now into the second half of his first season with #FCMC.
Giglioli revealed he is looking forward to tomorrow's clash, and said the squad have prepared hard in training in the build-up to the match.
“I feel incredible,” Giglioli said.
“I never imagined that I would have the opportunity to play against a team of this size in Spain and in world football such as Atlético de Madrid.
“The only feeling I can describe is fulfilment. It has been a dream since I was a child.
“The squad is very excited, we are working very hard every day, training technically, offensively, defensively, mentally and as a team.”
The Brazilian midfielder has enjoyed life with the Academy so far, and expressed how much his dreams will come true when he steps out onto the field against Atlético.
“It was one of the big reasons why I came to the FC Málaga City Academy, in addition to training every day and having the best life experience ever,” he added.
“The academy have managed to make my dreams come true like playing with top level clubs such as Atlético de Madrid.”
