Emudiaga Marshall praised the performance of CD Almuñecar City U23s B - as they secured a 1-0 victory over Celtic Pulianas.
After taking an early lead, #CDAC U23s B played a majority of the second half with just nine men - after having two players sent off.
Marshall praised the spirit of the team, and was pleased to have scored the match-winning goal.
"The performance as a team and as individuals was fantastic," he said.
"We showed great character as a group, and we are delighted to secure all three points.
"We have a very talented team, and brilliant spirit - so hopefully we can take this victory and build upon it.
"Throughout the game, we pressed well - and had to show real determination to grind out the victory, especially after having two players sent off.
"I am very happy to score the winning goal - the team worked really hard and deserved all three points."
The 22-year-old Nigerian striker has impressed since joining FC Malaga City Academy in December.
"I have been with the academy for just over two months, and it has been an amazing experience," he continued.
"We get great exposure, and I am really enjoying my experience here.
"The coaches at the academy, especially Ivan and Catanha, have really helped me to develop.
"The standard of football is really high across all the teams, and I feel like I am learning and improving every day.
"I thank God for everything, and will continue to work hard every day to achieve my goals."
