FC Malaga City Femenino defender Trista Seara is hoping to finish the last two games of the regular season on a high, before moving onto the play-offs later this month.
Adrian Dominguez Igual’s side secured the league title last time out with a 7-0 victory against UD Torremelinos, and face CD Torreón Cala Mijas this evening.
“There's a lot of good vibes amongst the team right now having clenched the league title, but we aren't fully satisfied until we win that promotion,” she said.
“We are all excited and ready to go into the Copa de Andalucía.
“We've been working towards this for months and it’s thrilling to finally have it right around the corner.”
“Our main goal is to remain undefeated heading into the next round of play-offs.
“Tonight we are looking to polish our performance as a team.
“We need to focus on our ball movement and finishing so we go into the play-offs with confidence.
Trista arrived in Spain at the beginning of the season, following the completion of her major at Mercy College.
“My first season in Spain has been a dream,” she continued.
“I've met some of the most amazing people and built some life long relationships in one of the most beautiful countries.
“Everyday has been a new exciting adventure and I am so grateful for this experience with this team.
“It's not over yet and I cannot wait to see where this team goes.”
